Talk Back # 12: Mrs. Goundo’s Daughter
Once again, a dedicated crowd of documentary enthusiasts gathered at The Tank, to preview Mrs. Goundo’s Daughter. Present were filmmakers Barbara Attie (representing Attie and Goldwater Productions) and Sabrina Schmidt Gordon, producer and editor of the film. As moderated by Flavia Fontes, the audience feedback focused on how to deal with an introspective main character (Mrs. Goundo), whose presence was felt strongest towards the second half of the film.
The discussion was lively and there were opposing viewpoints at times among the audience. But this is a good spot to further elaborate on comments and suggestions for the filmmakers. Please post your additional feedback here.
