Arts Engine partners with Cinema Eye Honors

The Second Annual Cinema Eye Honors took place in New York City last Sunday, March 29th. The TimesCenter played host to a room packed full of documentary filmmakers and their supporters. Highlights of the evening were appearances by documentary legends Albert Maysles and D.A. Pennebaker, and of course, award recipients Waltz With Bashir (Directing, International Feature, Graphic Design and Animation, and Music Composition) Man on Wire (Production, Editing, and Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking) and Up The Yangtze (Debut Feature Film and Audience Choice Award). 

Arts Engine was proud to be a supporting sponsor of the event and congratulates all the award nominees and recipients of Outstanding Achievement in documentary filmmaking. We look forward to 2009’s documentary output and to the next Cinema Eye Honors!
