Media That Matters NOW

Only one day after our world premiere and annual awards ceremony honoring 12 remarkable films from the new ninth annual Media That Matters Film Festival, we return to a fresh start of goals for outreach and immediate links to Take Action in the next 12 months ahead.

So soon after recalling a young filmmakers testimony about making a short film on gun violence in Chicago, we return to the headlines today with an all too familiar news story that pushes us to move sooner than later in using Will I Be Next - along with 11 other films - as a tool for change and immediate action to protect our communities.

On this sobering note, while wrapping up our festival posters we roll up our sleeves up to bring to you 12 new social issues with immediate our call to action and finding reason and inspiration to lead the next 12 months of Screen. Act. Impact.
