June 14, 8:53 PM: Just not a light packer. 8 days at Silverdocs and I so desperately wanted to bring the small suitcase but not gonna happen. Too many shoes.
June 15, 5:35 AM: Off to Silverdocs! A week of docs and hanging with family & friends in DC.
1:21 PM: I’ve been to DC a lot. Knew how to get to Silver Spring without once looking at a map.
9:45 PM: Saw More Than a Game, the LeBron James (yum!) doc at Silverdocs. I am a sucker for sports films, even ones I know have a happy ending.
9:46 PM: I do hate when filmmakers say they want their docs to play out like fiction films as if docs are some undramatic sub-category of filmmaking.
