Film Description

90 Miles is a personal documentary about how the relationships within a Cuban family are strained by the political rift between the United States and Cuba. It is a very delicate issue and one of great importance. All around the world, millions of families are displaced by conflict, most of it caused by intolerance. Many countries are unable to put aside politics or ideological pre-conceptions and accept each other’s differences. What makes 90 MILES an important film is that is an unapologetic testament of what happens to people because of politics. It validates the people’s experience and does not serve a political agenda. This is a crucial step in the fight for peace and
reconciliation.
