Film Description
Blood Stained Coal tells the story of the 1976 Scotia mine disaster which was the result of two explosions directly related to unsafe conditions for workers. Through poignant interviews with rescue workers, friends and family members of the 15 miners and rescuers killed in the explosion, this documentary explores the personal and community impacts of the disaster.
