Film Description
In the 1980’s, African Americans spearheaded a campaign to change US foreign policy towards South Africa creating a grass roots movement spanning college campuses, union halls, city halls and the US Congress. Against the formidable opposition of a Presidential veto from Ronald Reagan, they succeeded. The United States finally sanctions South Africa — a political victory which aided
the demise of the apartheid state. Story four of a six part series.
