Twenty years ago, one of the biggest industrial disasters recorded in history would strike the destiny of hundreds of thousands of people. Bhopal has since become the icon of double sided globalization. Twenty years later the after-effects of the establishment of the Union Carbide pesticide factory have far from diminished. After the disaster, the criminal practices of the factory have been revealed. Problems of contamination of the environment by carcinogenic chemical products are now a major concern. For the past twenty years, the citizens have been fighting for justice. In fact, the cleaning of the site, the supply of water to the contaminated zones and medical research are still current affairs. Facing the indifference of corporations, politics and scientists, men and women are still fighting a never ending battle. Through the eyes of doctors, activists and volunteers, the documentary unveils the daily fight of citizen of the world. Justice for Bhopal is a glimpse of the courage and tenacity of people fighting for justice. It’s a view of the daily life of citizens that have chosen to act in every possible way. It is a homage to simple people that make a difference.
