Film Description

Losing Sleep is a powerful and graphic documentary about teen homelessness in Vermont. This probing film shares the stories of young women living on Vermont's streets and reveals the uncomfortable truth behind their painful situations. It's an unflinching account that uncovers a growing and often overlooked problem in the Green Mountain State.
Produced by teenagers as part of the 1999 Fledgling Films institute, Losing Sleep is available as part of the compilation “Teen3,” which also includes two narrative films also made by teenagers on the themes of plastic surgery/body image, and the life of a teen outcast.
