Film Description

A unique group of teens from two mini-schools collaborated on a bilingual, English-Spanish documentary.  Students from a bilingual lower literacy program and others form a special education program combined their efforts with mainstream students to create this unique video: the first half of which is in English, the second half in Spanish.  Youths from two separate mini-schools with different academic missions, one specializing in visual arts and design, the other in business and law, combined their efforts.  Teen producers turned their cameras on students form the two respective schools.  Interviewed teens shared their views on the responsibility that teenagers have regarding teen pregnancy, gun violence, HIV/AIDS & STDs, drugs and alcohol, and inter-minority conflict.  Statistics about thses various abject matters are provided throughout the documentary.
