Film Description

An estimated number of 3 million Romanians left their country to work abroad. Almost 2 millions of them are in Italy, another 800,000 in Spain, and other thousands in Great Britain and Germany. Romanian migrants are known both as good working people and delinquents. One politician from Bruxelles, Adina Valean, europarlamentary, decided to see the look of this new Romania. Why did all these people leave their country? When and how will they come back home? The final conclusion is in fact one big fear. That all this impressive number of Romanians living in other countries of EU will remain suspended in time, between countries, between identities. In 20 years they won’t be either Romanians, Spanish, Italians or British. The only hope would be that they will become, simply Europeans. Is the EU something more real than a treaty between politicians? The simple folks searching for a better life will ever say: I’m from Europe?
