Film Description
Set against a harsh backdrop of the poor, white American South of the 1950s, Two Or Three Things But Nothing For Sure is the condensed story of critically acclaimed author Dorothy Allison. Interweaving evocative imagery with powerful performance footage, Two Or Three Things explores Allison’s life, from the oppression of poverty and childhood abuse to a place where she has created her own family and has broken a cycle of violence.
Two Or Three Things But Nothing For Sure was also broadcast on PBS’s primetime documentary series P.O.V., the Sundance Channel and foreign television. It has been screened at film festivals and cultural institutions around the world.
