Film Description
Air racing is the fastest and most dangerous motor sport in the world. Every year, 300,000 fans from across the globe attend the Reno National Championship Air Races. Pilots fly as low as fifty feet off the ground, in a pack of eight planes, around a tight course of pylons.
Air Racer: Chasing the Dream is the true story of husband-and-wife team, Jon and Patricia Sharp, who risk everything to create the most advanced race plane ever made: the Nemesis NXT. Over a four-year period, the Sharps design, build, test, and race their prototype.
The Sharps brave fierce competition against some of the world’s best pilots. In the end, Jon and Patricia will prove themselves and their Nemesis NXT in a way that will change air racing forever and secure their place in aviation history.
