Shot entirely on Super 8 mm, E Minha Cara : That's My Face follows the spiritual journey
of award-winning filmmaker, Thomas Allen Harris, searching for the mythic face of Africa in the legendary
city of Salvador Da Bahia, Brazil. This magical odyssey moves between the filmmaker's journey and
the home movies of his family as they embraced black power in the 1970s and moved to Tanzania, East
Africa. With an innovative sound design that uses rap and hip-hop sampling, That's My Face was shot
on three continents by three generations over the course of thirty years.
