Film Description
It has been estimated that over 300,000 children work in the sex trade in North America. Every year, in the United States and Canada, over seven billion dollars are generated by the sexual exploitation of children under the age of eighteen. Stolen Lives takes a hard look at this world through the eyes of the teenaged boys and girls who are being exploited in the fast growing business of child prostitution. Their stories - diverse, poignant, courageous and compelling - expose the painful reality of this modern crisis. Yet the video also profiles people and organizations who are working, with substantial success, to help young people escape life in the sex trade.
