Film Description
"The Hole in the Wall" illustrates how Dr. Sugata Mitra attempts to solve the digital divide in India by giving slum-children free access to computer technology.
The experiment also shows how, in only few hours, computer illiterate children in a spiral of teamwork and self-instruction learn to use computers and navigate the internet with no help or guidance from adults.
