Film Description
This beautifully photographed film examines the characteristics and ecology of the coastal rain forest of the Pacific northwest. The high canopy of tall trees and the fragrant decay of the damp woodland floor display a lush mix of majestic conifers and deciduous growth. Inhospitable to larger mammals, the tankgled undergrowth teems with frogs and salamanders. This film reminds us of the exquisite beauty of the temperate rain forest and of our obligation to preserve its place in nature.
