Film Description
Cries of political influence went up the first day the first dump truck, loaded with trash, dropped its cargo into the swampy site along Darby creek at 84th and Buist streets in the early fifties.
Local residents claimed then, and still do today, that political influence has a lot to do with the creation, rise, and protection of the Clearview Landfill.
