Natural Step Sustainable Business and Commuity Seminar Presented by Terry Gips
The Natural Step is a powerful new approach to sustainability successfully being used by individuals, communities, schools, religious institutions, nonprofits and businesses such as Nike, Home Depot, Interface, Electrolux, IKEA and yes, even McDonalds to become environmentally and socially responsible while saving money, and improving performance. It is a powerful tool used by European municipalities to create jobs, better housing, more vibrant community and improved quality of life, while dramatically reducing consumption of fossil fuels, harmful chemicals and non-renewable resources. It is used by thousands of individuals around the world as a guide to making choices that sustain themselves and restore the environment.
It is a common framework comprised of easily understood, scientifically based principles that can serve as a compass to guide society toward a sustainable future. Natural Step presentations are both a dynamic learning experience and an inspiring overview of this upbeat life-changing framework. Participants come away with tools and focus to begin bringing their lives, communities and businesses back into balance.
This seminar is presented by Terry Gips, a widely published ecologist, economist, Natural Step Instructor and business consultant. Terry is the President of Minneapolis-based Sustainability Associates and President of the nonprofit Alliance for Sustainability www.mtn.org/iasa
The Natural Step is particularly appealing to people who want to save money, live a more sustainable life, and transform their organization and community, including concerned citizens,
