NOW with Bill Moyers seeks docs

NOW with Bill Moyers, a weekly hour-long news and current affairs magazine airing every Friday night on PBS nationwide, is reaching out to the independent documentary film community for unique and original work. If you are making a film that is timely or timeless and falls within the scope of our programming, we would love to hear from you.
Our format is a combination of documentary reporting -- usually in 15-minute
segments -- coupled with in-depth interviews conducted by Bill Moyers, one of
America's most respected journalists.
NOW With Bill Moyers is interested in
films that explore the following areas: healthcare, education, the environment, politics, the arts and humanities, social justice/equality/human rights, the economy and foreign policy/affairs.

Submit work that is either currently in production, or that is only recently completed. If we select your project, we will license from 12 to 15 minutes of your footage and collaborate with you to find the best way to produce an excerpt of your work. Please note, we are NOT looking for story pitches.
Consult www.pbs.org/now/submission for more information and an official submission form. For more information about the program, go to our Web site at www.pbs.org/now.
