SCREENING OF "A DAY'S WORK, A DAY'S PAY" - The new documentary film from Kathy Leichter and Jonathan Skurnik that follows three welfare recipients in New York City from 1997 to 2000 as they participate in the largest welfare-to-work program in the nation — and fight back against its injustices.
Following the screening, the filmmakers and MediaRights.org's Julia Pimsleur will discuss the film and how media makers can make a difference and inspire dialogue on contemporary social issues. To register, call (646) 505-5708.
