"Speak Your Peace" MTV/SHiNE PSA Contest
MTV and SHiNE are inviting young people from across
America to create Public service announcements aimed at combating discrimination.
Speak Your Peace: The "Speak Your Peace!" PSA contest welcomes young People to add their voice to MTV's year-long pro-social initiative, "Fight For Your Rights: Take a Stand Against Discrimination." Applicants are to create A 10-second Public Service Announcement to address the dangers of discrimination and/or show how to combat it. Content: The nature of the PSA is limited only
to the applicant's creativity. Animation, live action, professional actors, or puppets are all welcome. The PSA should address issues of discrimination in a meaningful, educational
manner and may not exceed 10 seconds. Video Format: Submissions will be accepted on VHS, Beta SP, or Mini DV tape.
Application Procedure: All applicants must be U.S. residents between The ages of 13-24 and all contest materials must be received on/before October 15, 2001. Applicants may submit individual or group projects, provided That all of those involved meet the eligibility requirements. All entries Should be mailed to: MTV/SHiNE Speak Your Peace PSA Contest c/o SHiNE 648 Broadway Suite 301. www.fightforyourrights.mtv.com
