New School Presents Documentary Film Screenings with Filmmakers
The New School is presenting three evenings with major documentary films
and their directors. The screenings and discussions are open to the public, and include:
Alexandra Pelosi and "Journeys with George" on Monday, October 13;
Leon Gast with the Academy Award-winning "When We Were Kings" on Monday,
November 3;
and
Aviva Kempner with "The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg" on Monday
December 1.
Each screening will begin at 6:00pm, to be followed by discussion with the filmmaker, and reception. Bill Lichtenstein, of the New School's "Documentarians Present Their Works," will moderate. The fee is for the three evenings is $150.
