The 2nd Annual International Women Artists' Conference
November 7-9th, 2003 at Barnard College

The conference this year will feature dozens of hands-on, professional development, healing, and movement workshops, panels, film screenings performances, and an international women's marketplace. Women artists/entrepreneurs from around the globe will be in attendance to share, network, learn, engage, showcase, exhibit, and develop in a creative and supportive environment. This three-day event kicks off with our Opening Ceremony November 7th (7-9 pm) at Barnard College featuring author/poet/activist Hattie Gossett as our keynote, a special dance tribute to Katherine Dunham, and other treats. Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th are full conference days from 10:30am-7pm. Our conference concludes with a special night event at Joe's Pub featuring MeShell Ndegeocello, Carol C., Femm Nameless, Imani Uzuri, DJ Rekha and many more! (9-11 pm -Get your $12 advance tickets through Joe's Pub/ticketmaster, as the price on the day of will be $15.) Much to see, hear, and do--this is a gathering not to be missed!
