FILM RESEARCHER NEEDED

A posting from filmmaker Laura Williams:

I am currently producing a documentary about hatred and mistrust between the United States and the Middle East. Our production company, Signature Productions, is based in Beirut, Lebanon but live in New York. We are looking to hire two researchers in New York to provide information on several topics, among them:

- US foreign policy in the Middle East (Arab world and Israel) that hinders or facilitates peace, stability, and tolerance.

- Data and statistics on the US (religion, education, political participation).

- Peace activism in the United States.

- Organizations whose ideology fosters hate/intolerance.

- Misc. topics.


The ideal candidate is a graduate student or graduate who can commit to a full-time/substantial research schedule for 1 1/2 to 2 months.
Research will commence in the next two weeks.

The salary is negotiable.
