Southwest Global: Local Links
Southwest Links is a nonpartisan voter education project that aims to increase awareness about the links between U.S. foreign policy and local issues in New Mexico and neighboring states in the desert-mountain Southwest. The project works collaboratively with state, regional, and national organizations that share our concerns about low voter registration, low voter turnout, and the need to increase awareness about global-local links in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. The Southwest Links projects will leverage the expertise of the network of
analysts, scholars, and policy advocates associated with the IRC's own programs: Foreign Policy In Focus (FPIF), Americas Program, and Right Web.
