Independent filmmakers from diverse ethnic communities are eligible to apply. If you believe that television is the best possible medium to reach audiences overlooked by conventional programming and want to create programs for public television that inspire public dialogue, take creative risks, advance different points of view then we want to
hear from you! Deadline for applications is April 9, 2004.
Local Independents Collaborating with Stations (LInCS)
LInCS provides matching funds for collaborations between public TV stations and independent producers. Projects may be in any stage of development and all genres are eligible, including documentary, drama, animation and innovative combinations. Only single shows are eligible. We seek stories that emanate from the perspectives and realities of local communities - stories with the potential to engage both regional and national audiences. Deadline for applications is May 26, 2004.
