he Women Make Movies Spring Workshop Series is in full swing and runs through June! The lineup includes a Master Class by Effie Brown, whose producing credits include
the 2004 Sundance Film Festival selection Everyday People, In the Cut (2003) by Jane Campion, and Real Women Have Curves by Patricia Cardoso. Award-winning filmmaker,
writer and scholar Frances Negrón-Muntaner, whose films include Brincando El Charco: Portrait of a Puerto
Rican, AIDS in the Barrio and most recently, Constantly Chamorro: The Making of Guam, USA will lead a workshop on Documentary filmmaking. Other topics include
fundraising, budgeting, and a panel with cable television executives.
