Celebrate National Library Week/National Poetry Month with captioned videos from the CAPTIONED MEDIA PROGRAM

Click on link to view captioned media available on free-loan relating to National Library Week/National Poetry Month. What better way to spend a spring day than visiting your local library? National Library Week will be observed April 18-24. Sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA), it is a time to recognize the contributions of our nation's libraries and to promote their use. National Poetry Month is also observed during April. This celebration brings together publishers, booksellers, literary organizations,
libraries, schools, and poets around the country to observe poetry and its place in American culture. Prepare to participate in both events by borrowing captioned media
from the CMP!

The Captioned Media Program is a non-profit free-lending "library" of captioned videos for the deaf and hard of hearing - funded by the U.S. Department of Education
and administered by the National Association of the Deaf. Eligible users of our media are deaf or hard of hearing persons, their parents and families, teachers, and
other professionals who work with that group. Videos are borrowed for seven days at no charge - we pay the postage both ways. Our collection includes over 4,000 titles (many in Spanish), and we serve a client base of close to 10,000 members.
