On the eve of the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Board, community groups, schools, parents, students and teachers are forced to re-evaluate whether this historical decision has facilitated enforcement of equity and de-segregation in U.S. public schools. The forum will include information on current movements focusing on: privatization, No Child Left Behind, militarization and law enforcement in public schools, and current local policies. Please join ColorLines magazine for this important conversation on connecting today's education issues to those of our recent past.
