AIVF's FILMMAKER'S JOURNEY: SUSTAINING YOUR VISION
when: Saturday June 5 and 12
where: Goldcrest Post, 799 Washington St. near 13th St, NYC
(http//www.goldcrestpost.com/directions)
AIVF's Filmmaker's Journey is a day-long intensive workshop with a newly celebrated narrative filmmaker whose production process best demonstrates how to make a good film and get it seen while staying independent.
The workshop starts with a screening of the filmmaker's most recent work, followed by a intimate conversation with the filmmaker. This is one aspect of the workshop that sets it apart from others -- during this time, the filmmaker is there to talk with you. You are guaranteed the opportunity to ask questions, both specific and general, and to have them answered by
the filmmaker. A cocktail reception ends the workshop. Independent producer Amanda Doss will moderate the workshop.
June 5 - SELF DISTRIBUTION & MARKETING with DIRECTOR GREG PAK, ROBOT STORIES

Learn how Greg has successfully built a marketing campaign and self-distributed his film after a year on the world festival
