On the Job in North Carolina
On the Job in North Carolina: From Farm to Factory to Fast Food is an economic history curriculum for North Carolina 8th grade students and teachers. The project has produced six hours of lessons plans that incorporate video clips from independent films and video with on-line activities.
The goal of this program is to help students investigate for themselves the complexities of economics. They will come to understand how each individual's story and each family's story are part of the whole story of North Carolina economics.
