For most of New York City's urban, minority adolescents, the path to adulthood diverges dramatically between the statistical likelihood of incarceration and the dim prospect of a higher education. The point of this divergence, during the high school age years when young men and women begin to form the shapes of their futures, is the focus of our documentary.
