Manhattan's African Burial Ground Lives
Eric Tait Jr's "Be Free To Travel Home" airs on BLACK STARZ! Cable network in August. Hosted by Lena Horne and her daughter Gail Lumet Buckley, the documentary tells of discovery and legacy of New York's Colonial African Burial Ground, and the epic battle to preserve it. The documentary garnered attention (and interest continues) as a 13-part radio documentary that began airing in February on public radio stations across the country.
