Volunteer for the 2004 IFP Market and Conference

The 26th Annual IFP Market and Conference will run from September 19th - 24th in New York City. It is an enormous undertaking that could not happen without dedicated volunteers.

Volunteering at the IFP Market is a great way to gain exposure to the independent
film scene, make valuable contacts, get a behind-the-scenes look at who's doing what
in the indie world, and meet like-minded peers, filmmakers and industry reps who
share in supporting and promoting independent film.

In addition to hands-on experience, volunteers completing 60 hours of service
receive a free one year IFP membership ($100 value) which includes free passes to
special screenings throughout your membership year, a subscription to FILMMAKER
Magazine and many other IFP benefits. (Current IFP members will receive a free
one-year extension to their existing membership.)

If you are 18 years or older, put your skills to good use and volunteer for the
first and longest running film market dedicated to American independent filmmaking -
The place where film buyers from around the world first discovered titles like "One
False Move", "The Brothers McMullen", and "Clerks".

Before the Market: Assist with project development, research, deadlines, mailings,
data entry and other tasks.

During the Market: Work three half-day shifts. Your schedule will be determined
according to your availability.

The remainder of each half-day can be spent attending various screenings and panels
during the Market.
