Sept. 1 CODE RED: STOP THE BUSH AGENDA
Protest Demonstration during the Republican National Convention, 7-9 p.m., East Meadow of Central Park, protest approved by Parks Dept. and NYPD. Bring women's issues to the foreground while revealing the truth about the Bush administration's war on women and reproductive freedom, workers, people of color, LGBT, disabled, poor and immigrant peoples, the environment, at home and around the globe, and on the U.S. Constitution it is sworn to protect. This is the only demonstration to highlight women's rights during the RNC.
