Grassroots Coordinator Position at SFT

The Grassroots Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of SFT chapter development, including communication, leadership training and some campaign coordination." The Coordinator works closely with SFT's regional volunteer coordinators and chapter contacts to help develop their leadership and effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS: At least three years grassroots organizing experience with emphasis on membership recruitment & leadership training.
Excellent computer skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
English language required, Tibetan language skills a plus.
Knowledge of Tibet and Tibetan issues required.

OFFICE: New York, NY, USA
STATUS: Full-Time
SALARY: $30,000; full benefits included
Starting Date: November 1, 2004
