SCREENING OF INDIAN DOCUMENTARY - ONE AMONG YOU
My film is based on a true life incident of an 18
year old girl Rita mary who was kidnapped and sold
into prostitution. When she tried to escape with the
help of a customer to the brothel, the state police
intervened and put them into a jail where she was
brutally gang raped by jail authorities. A mentally
disturbed Rita was rescued by a team of advocates and
activists. The film is a paen to Rita's unwavering
spirit.
