Beta Project
Beta Project is the film festival for film festivals; a monthly event set to amass New York's film community with their favorite New York Film Festivals. New York City has over 25 local film festivals all founded on the support and promotion of cinema. Beta Project strives to bring the best of New York Film Festivals to one screen. Festival coordinators deserve acknowledgment, for without them there would little or no audience for independent film. Coordinators are given the opportunity to showcase their films and orate their mission to an involved crowd in an effort to broaden and enliven their audience. The audience gains an insider perspective on their favorite film festivals and a chance to mingle among industry peers. One event unites all film festivals and the film community to honor film and support growth within the independent market. The Beta Project will be highlighting the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival.
