New Funding Opportunity through Women Make Movies
Women Make Movies is pleased to announce our participation as a submitting organization for The ABC/Disney New Talent Development Grant Program. The Program nurtures and supports aspiring writers, directors, and narrative filmmakers from diverse backgrounds by providing financial support and mentorship in the development of a new narrative feature or short film or for the completion of a feature or short film screenplay in progress. Selected participants will be awarded a grant of up to $20,000 and will be paired with a mentor for ten months. The program concludes with a series of workshops in Los Angeles at ABC and Walt Disney Studios. Women Make Movies will submit proposals from women directors and women writer/directors of narrative features and shorts.
