FIERCE! Position Available
FIERCE! (Fabulous Independent Educated Radicals for Community Empowerment) is one of the few community organizing projects for Transgender, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Queer and Questioning youth of color in New York City. Through a mix of leadership development, cultural activism, political education, and community organizing, FIERCE! challenges criminal, justice, housing, employment and education systems. We seek a dynamic leader with the vision and proven track record to guide the organization into its next phase of development.
The position is full-time with
benefits; the salary range is $37-$42K annually. The Director is responsible for organizational development, fundraising and development, community relations, and managing the daily operations of the organization.
