DocuClub In the Works Screening Monday March 21st
DocuClub presents HOME
"Home" follows Sheree, a single mother of six, as she tries to buy her first home and get her kids out of the drug-infested, crime-ridden, and gang-controlled neighborhood of Newark. While working to qualify for a mortgage, Sheree has a fight with one of her daughters, Jalishah, and loses custody of her to her ex-husband Larry, an ex-con and former drug abuser who beat her brutally during their 15-year marriage.
June Cross will be moderating tonight's screening of Home. June is an award-winning producer with thirty years of experience in both commercial and public television
