A Duty to Protect: Justice for Child Soldiers in the DRC
In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) children make up 40 to 60 percent of combatants, some as young as eight years old.
A Duty to Protect: Justice for Child Soldiers in the DRC is a documentary that explores, through the voices of these children, the issue of recruitment of child soldiers, rape as a weapon of war, sexual exploitation of girls in the armed forces, and the importance of the International Criminal Court to bring peace and justice to the DRC.
