Reel Work Labor Flm Festival!
The Reel Work May Day Labor Film Festival is coming soon! ReelWork is a week-long annual film festival dedicated to bringing together community ativists, union members, and students through a variety of labor-related films. This year's films include The Take, The Yes Men, Picture Bride, Stolen Childhoods, Eyes On The Fries: Young Workers In The Service Economy, as well as many others. A number of speakers will also be featured, including an activist film workshop presented by Saul Landau and a lecture and book signing by Paul Buhle. Screenings will be held Sunday, April 24th through Sunday May 1st, with the week culminating in the International Worker's Day Parade and Dinner, where we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the International Workers of the World.
