seeking documentary teachers for the summer
The Oklahoma Arts Institute is seeking a team of two (Director and Producer) to teach the Film/Video program at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute (OSAI). This year the program is focusing on documentaries. OSAI is held in rural southwest Oklahoma at the Quartz Mountain Resort. The program is a two week pre-professional program for 14 â 18 year olds. There will be approximately 16 students in the program, all having been through an extensive audition process. The class will ultimately work in groups of four. Each group will complete a short documentary approximately 10 minutes in length.
Along with a strong professional background in documentary film making we are also looking for candidates with teaching experience.
The Oklahoma Arts Institute pays travel expenses as well as provides private accommodations and all meals at the resort. There is also an honorarium for each position ranging from $3500 - $5000 for the commitment. Commitment dates are Wednesday, June 8 â Sunday, June 26.
Please submit resumes to rhuston@okartinst.org.
