NCO Grant Announcement

Community Leadership Summit Grants:10-15 Available at $2000
The Summit is a vehicle for listening and exchanging ideas that might lead to new collaborative initiatives. It is a one-day meeting structured to give voice to concerns about your community. The hope is that the day\'s ideas will lead to partnership opportunities and create possible steps to address identified community concerns. Grant guidelines and application forms are attached and will soon be available on the NCO web site in pdf file or word format at

Informational grant audio conference: June 29, 2005 11:30 AM CST (12:30 PM EST)
The grant\'s audio conference is free. We\'ll walk through the guidelines and discuss lessons learned from NCO\'s experiences with the National Community Leadership Summit. To Participate: RSVP to Sarah Hammer at hammer@wpt.org by June 28, 2005. You\'ll receive dial-in instructions once you register.

Community Leadership Timeline:
- Proposals are due to the NCO on July 19, 2005 with original signed hard copies via snail mail.
- Awards will be announced in August 2005
- Stations have 6 months to plan and convene their Local Community Leadership Summit. All summits must take place by February 1, 2006.
