Simultaneous Moment of Silence at 7:20pm

Four cyclists have been killed by trucks and SUVs in the past two months. This Wednesday will mark a week from the day Andrew Morgan was killed on Houston and Elizabeth Streets. At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, TIME'S UP! and the community will have a simultaneous memorial at the site of each death. The memorial will establish the link between the deaths and the need for safer streets for cyclists and to draw attention to the fact that no driver has been charged in any of these cases. We want safer infrastructure now!

During the course of the last year, the City has not just arrested cyclists, they also have created a climate on the streets that is more conducive to a lack of respect for cyclists. The City has also spent millions of dollars trying to confuse our clear message that more infrastructure is needed to make cycling safe.

TIME'S UP! GET OUTRAGED! STOP THE KILLING! DEMAND RESPECT!
