Intercontinental Grassroots Soap Opera Needs Executive Producer

Community Theatre Internationale is seeking an executive producer to help shepherd the next phase of a community-based soap opera created by residents of Brooklyn, USA; Kenya and Peru. Their writing, performances, and films have all been enthusiastically received at live events on four continents. This grassroots international relations project addresses with authenticity, drama and humor many issues of concern including HIV/AIDS, racism, gender inequality, homophobia, addiction and teen pregnancy.

We are now looking to configure a project for video and broadcast distribution. Currently an all-volunteer effort, we are looking for someone to contribute pro bono consultation to keep us on track as we begin working with professional writers, editors and other production people.
