Ready to Make Poverty History
On Saturday, millions of people watched the Live 8 concerts in London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Tokyo, Moscow, Philadelphia, Barrie and Johannesburg, and we know many of you did too. TakingITGlobal members all over the world are not only informed about global issues, but are also taking action by raising awareness, volunteering and inspiring other young people to do the same.
As a member of the Make Poverty History Coalition, TakingITGlobal staff attended the concert in Canada and highlighted the importance of engaging youth in ending world poverty.
