Film Screening on Governors Island
LOST AT SEA (short films on Governors Island)
Saturday, July 16, 8pm
As the opening night of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's month-long arts exhibit Set and Drift, Rooftop Films will present a selection of strange and stirring, sweet and silly films, lost in sea and space. This is a truly fantastic program of films, combining poetry and comedy, live action beauty and animated joy and truly unique opportunity to visit an amazing place, so please drift out to see the sea with us.
Films include:
Egg (Benh Zeitlin)
Moonraker (Fran Krause)
Return I Will to Old Brazil (Alexsey Budovsky)
Here After (Patrick Jolly, Rebecca Trost, Inger Lise Hansen)
Miles Above (Michael Welt)
Roswell (Bill Brown)
Attendance is limited, and tickets will go fast, so early reservations are encouraged. You must book a ticket on a specific ferry for your outward trip.
